Dave, Mac, Erich, Mike, and Michael saddle up to do battle with weather, traffic, the Olympics, Benicio Del Toro in The Wolfman, a Big Sandwich in Little China, Erich's fetish for feline-owned baseball teams, Roman Polanski's Ghost Writer vs. Martin Scorsese's Shutter Island, going down the rabbit hole with Abby in Wonderland, non-existent memories of Matt Houston, and an animated Friday Night Lights goes all Arthurian to dispense justice. Plus, such pearls of wisdom as don't get caught in a Yoga Meltdown or go camping near a maximum security prison; when real life tragedies seep into scripted TV shows; reckless oil drilling on high school football fields; addressing the horrible epidemic of children trapped in refrigerators; giving a 300-style makeover to classic '80s action flicks; when man-made monsters and movie/television-themed Mad Libs go bad; and another game of "Dead or Alive?" starring Lou Gossett Jr. And now you can enjoy the madness all week long on the new Filibuster Facebook page. |

Dave, Tim, and Erich run through the games they've been playing--including Modern Warfare 2, Mass Effect, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, 'Splosion Man, Dante's Inferno, and Street Fighter IV--before looking ahead to big (and little) titles on the horizon. Dave wonders whether he should try Heavy Rain, Tim wonders whether he'll be able to find a PS3 before God of War III comes out, and Erich wonders whether the Xbox Live Arcade Game Room will be worth downloading. No Symposium Ad Nauseum this week, but we have a very good excuse. At least, I think we do. You'll have to listen to find out. Feel free to join the rest of the junkies in the new Blast Processing! discussion forum. |

Having missed last week's Symposium Ad Nauseum, the gang tackles it this time around: Odd Choices for TV Show Video Game Adaptations. Do you like references to Canadian TV shows? Then you'll love this! Feel free to join the rest of the junkies in the new Blast Processing! discussion forum. |
