Dave, Mac, Mike, and Erich burn through over an hour of audio. Erich eulogizes The Tonight Show. Mike is tepid about Human Target. Mac finally sees Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Dave spreads the love for Sherlock Holmes and Mass Effect 2. Plus: Yo Gabba Gabba larping, The madness of Fireball, Darth Vader as a sitcom father, Spotting the fake monkey suit, Genre mashup pitch-fest, and the boys find it nearly impossible to recognize their own writing. And now you can enjoy the madness all week long on the new Filibuster Facebook page. |

It's a two-man show this week, as Steve and Erich pour one out for Conan O'Brien, dig into space sequel extraordinaire Mass Effect 2, go back in time with PS2 launch title Summoner, bemoan the Killer Croc stage of Batman: Arkham Asylum, wonder whether some games are just too darn long, and pay lip service to sports with this week's Symposium Ad Nauseum: "Super Bowl Special!" Feel free to join the rest of the junkies in the new Blast Processing! discussion forum. |

Clark continues his countdown of the best film scores of 2009, spotlighting #10 through #6 on the list. While we won't tell you the titles in advance, here are a few hints: the music you'll hear is written by Bruno Coulais, Elliot Goldenthal, Michael Giacchino, Hans Zimmer, and Marco Beltrami. Clark also offers up his review of the acclaimed Jeff Bridges film Crazy Heart. Enjoy! Clark welcomes your comments, questions, and suggestions in Sounds and Sights Discussion Forum. |

Dave, Mac, Erich, and Mike do battle with the forces of USA's midseason premieres of White Collar and Burn Notice, 24: Season 8 and how the Filibuster Bingo Card performed, Nathan Fillion's Castle and the new tie-in novel. Plus, Dave's appointment with Doctor Death, Weirdest character used to promote environmental awareness, Potential new careers for Avatar's Col. Miles Quaritch, Fictional characters with perfectly descriptive names, and a trip to the brain-busting Magic Eye. And now you can enjoy the madness all week long on the new Filibuster Facebook page. |

Dave, Tim, and Erich do their best to alienate listeners, with musings on the religious implications of recent games, the tail-end of the NFL season, and NBA Jam tournament memories. The boys make up for it, though, with another 40 minutes of video game talk. Tim still loves Modern Warfare 2, Dave sings the praises of Darksiders, Erich learns a valuable lesson about his gaming tastes thanks to Batman: Arkham Asylum, and should difficulty count in review scores? The capper is this week's Symposium Ad Nauseum: Over My Dead Body is My Daughter Marrying That Guy. Oh, and pinball. It's time to Couche diem. Join Kent and Michelle for a half hour of marital bliss, as they look back on the last decade in film, entertainment news, and milestones in their own lives. Michelle takes the driver's seat from a slightly sluggish Kent to recap highlights from the Golden Globes; take a look at the Disney family gem Bridge to Terabithia; hang out with Kermit and the gang as they search for Muppets From Space; and share first impressions of Fox's new series Human Target. Email your questions, comments, and suggestions to Kent and Michelle. And be sure to check out their new site at ViewFromTheCouch.com. |

This week, Clark continues counting down the very best film music of 2009, from #15 to #11. Using his unique brand of eccentric math, Clark manages to fit seven scores by four composers into those five slots, but that's forgivable given that the music is insanely good. So sit back, relax, and enjoy some terrific music courtesy of Carter Burwell, Alexandre Desplat, Randy Newman and Christopher Young. In addition, Clark offers his less than glowing review of Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones. Clark welcomes your comments, questions, and suggestions in Sounds and Sights Discussion Forum. |

Dave, Mac, Erich, and Michael dive head first into the worlds of Terry Gilliam's Doctor Parnassus, ABC Family's Make It or Break It, Cartoon Network's Batman: The Brave and The Bold, and USA Network original programming. Erich shares his love for the Jonas Brothers. Michael is annoyed with far too many "inspired by true events" films. Dave learns how to "spook-bust" horses. Play the new at-home game: What movie would you prefer a punch to the groin than have to sit through? Ambush Topics: Tough bald guys; What the hell were you thinking?; Musicians who would be out of place on a kids-oriented TV series; and Name that DVD Special Edition. Share your comments and questions in the new Filibuster discussion forum. |

Jon and Steve join Erich for a gamestravaganza of epic-ish proportions! There is praise-singing for Darksiders and Bayonetta, admiration for Army of Two: the 40th Day, and iPhone game recommendations by Steve (yes... Steve). In other news, Jon digs into Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Erich can't stop talking about Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection (though he does so long enough to give his long overdue impressions of Batman: Arkham Asylum), and Steve talks about going to the coolest high school... ever. Keeping with the awkward teen theme, the crew wraps things up with this week's Symposium Ad Nauseum: The Ideal Video Game Prom Date.
