This week, Clark counts down the ten greatest film scores of the past decade. No fair revealing what the titles are, but we can say you'll hear music from such fabulous composers as Thomas Newman, John Williams, James Horner, Howard Shore, and more! Whether you agree or disagree with Clark's choices, one thing's for sure: this is an hour of terrific film music! |

We thaw Kent and Michelle from their arctic freeze to review a more PG-er When Harry Met Sally, dissect Kent's disturbing addiction to A Christmas Carol variations, get some last-minute gift ideas for the TV and film fans on your shopping lists, and did we mention there's a celebrity guest who will pit our heroes against one another in a holiday trivia challenge?! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Kent, Michelle, Connor, Emily and The Holiday Hounds! |

Dave, Mac, and Mike get their generic holiday yuletide cheer on by reviewing 9 (the animated one, not the Fellini homage), District 9, and the incredibly misleading Captive; reveling in the joy of Resident Evil 5, Pittsburgh sports, Steven Seagal does Cops, MA-residents get a Terry Gilliam marathon, character-inspired Christmas trees, and a friendly game of Avatar bingo. Print your game card and take it with you to the theater! |

The Pixel Verdict boys talk a lot about a few games this week. Steve weighs in on the video game version of James Cameron's Avatar. Does he really say it's better than Modern Warfare 2? You'll have to listen to find out. Meanwhile, it's all Dragon Age: Origins all the time for a roguish Adam, while Erich dives back into Gears of War 2 and gets his Zelda on with Spirit Tracks and a digression about the financial dangers of online shopping during the holidays. This week's Symposium Ad Nauseum sinks to new levels of depravity. If you have any complaints, send them to Dave. He chose the topic. Feel free to join the rest of the junkies in the new Blast Processing! discussion forum. |

Erich, Jon, and a distant-sounding Dave talk about games they've played, games they want to play, and games no one's actually played yet. After a lengthy Bayonetta discussion, chat turns to other forthcoming titles including Darksiders and Dead Space 2. In other news, Dave rents Band Hero, Erich is stuck on Mario, and Jon refuses to acknowledge alternate pronunciations for "guillotine." This week's Symposium Ad Nauseum: Who do you want in your foxhole (besides Angela Lansbury, of course)? Feel free to join the rest of the junkies in the new Blast Processing! discussion forum. |
