Verdict podcasting at its finest... so to speak. The boys are back to rock 30 minutes of your world with more Jericho musings, plugging the launch of TV Verdict, great moments from The Coreys, what happens when musical instruments meet body fluids, favorite half men/half fish, and someone reveals his secret sensitive past. It's a very special episode of The Friday Filibuster. Enjoy! Spring has begun to rear its head in Edmonton, as beavers die on the riverbanks and the show goes commando 'Friday Filibuster' style. This week, an Empire Strikes Back trivia question; Kent mourns the death of HD DVD and foolishly dreams of a day when Sony will replace HD equipment and titles with Blu-ray equivalents. Hahahahaha... silly boy; the long delayed Jay Jay's Wing-Wigglin' Mystery review lands; Flick Swap ventures into Rob Reiner's Rumor Has It; and Knight Rider returns to TV. Enjoy! Two halves do in fact make a whole, as Dave and Mac come together for yet another action-packed, 30 min, Britney-free, entertainment extravaganza. Mac is underwhelmed by CLOVERFIELD but overjoyed by KING OF KONG, while Dave is jazzed by "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune" for the PS3 and "Rock Band" for the Xbox 360. On the DVD front, three's are the magic number. Mac previews his take on Beauty and the Beast: The Third Season and Dave channels Mr. T for his critique of Criss Angel: Mindfreak: Season Three. Follow that up with a rundown of Feb 5 upcoming releases, on the way to this week's Ambush Topic minefield, where we travel the world with James Bond, Doctor Who, Superman, and Lorenzo Lamas? Don't ask me to explain. Enjoy!
